I HAVE DARK SKIN, IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL SUITABLE?
Laser hair removal is suitable for all 6 skin tone on the Fitzpatrick skin type classification. The laser hair removal is safe for dark skin tones and does not cause any skin burn.
Compared to traditional IPL where it is not suitable for dark skin, clients with skin type 4 and above are not suitable for IPL as the darker melanin on the skin will absorb more energy than a lighter skin tone, thus this will cause more discomfort and the client will be at a higher risk of burn.
Laser hair removal is suitable for all skin types and hair types.
