Is microneedling painful?
Microneedling works by puncturing the skin with micro needles to achieve its results. For most patients, the treatment is not very painful and is tolerable.
It is important to seek an experienced skin clinic as it can be uncomfortable if the procedure is performed by an experienced individual.
In order to ensure patients comfort, topical anaesthesia will be applied prior to the treatment.
The incisions created by the microneedling needles are not deep, allowing them to heal in a short period of time.
